Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...
|
Gamers who own or plan to get the Nintendo Switch 2 are getting a timely opportunity to expand their console’s storage affordably. Lexar’s microSD Express cards, especially the 512 GB and 1 TB models, are now seeing their lowest prices yet a major win for those dealing with the Switch 2’s limited internal storage.
The Switch 2 comes with 256 GB built-in storage, which can fill up quickly given the size of modern games. Even physical game cartridges often act as digital keys, requiring downloads which means more space is needed. Lexar’s Express cards are designed to handle this demand.
At present, the 512 GB card is offered around $88.47, and the 1 TB version is about $157.96. These discounts make these high-speed cards much more tempting for avid players. Previously, such cards were rarely discounted and often sold out.
Lexar is not the only player here, but it is one of the few brands offering models with high capacity and fast performance targeted at gamers. Because the Switch 2 requires microSD Express (standard microSD cards aren’t sufficient for game storage), these deals are especially meaningful.
If you’re a Switch 2 owner, now might be the best time to grab an Express card before prices climb again.
