A shocking murder in Delhi’s Jaitpur area has triggered fear and outrage after a 21-year-old man was stabbed to death in full public view. Police have now arrested all 10 suspects linked to the crime, including five minors, bringing the case closer to closure but raising serious questions about youth violence, street disputes, and the alarming rise of group attacks in the capital.

The victim, identified as Krishna Sahu (21), was attacked on Thursday night after he reportedly attempted to break up a fight between his friend and a group of young men. Police said the clash began over an issue involving a girl, and the situation rapidly escalated into a violent assault. Krishna’s attempt to intervene turned fatal when he was allegedly stabbed during the chaos.

Krishna was immediately rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. The murder sent a chilling message across the locality, with residents describing the incident as brutal and sudden. Many locals have expressed concern over how quickly minor arguments are turning into deadly confrontations, especially when groups are involved and weapons are easily accessible.

With the latest action, police confirmed that two more suspects have been detained, completing the list of accused in the case. The newly arrested individuals have been identified as Manish Kumar alias Mangal (20) from Faridabad and Amit alias RP (21) from Meethapur in Delhi. Both were reportedly working at an AC pipe factory in Noida and were tracked down following investigation into the incident and the people involved in the attack.

Investigators said this murder was not the act of a single person but the result of a coordinated assault involving multiple individuals. Police earlier arrested the main accused Deepak Kumar (22), along with Ashish (24) who allegedly arranged the weapon used in the attack and Neeraj Kumar, who is said to have played a key role in helping execute the crime. Their arrests helped police trace the rest of the group, including the minors allegedly present during the violence.

Out of the 10 accused now held, five are minors. Authorities have stated that the minors have been presented before the Juvenile Justice Board, and legal proceedings will follow under juvenile law. The involvement of so many minors has sparked deeper concern among citizens, with many questioning how teenagers are getting drawn into violent group crimes and whether stricter monitoring and community intervention is urgently needed.

Police continue to examine the sequence of events, including how the fight started, who initiated the stabbing, and which accused played direct or supporting roles. The investigation is also focusing on weapon access, the motive behind the confrontation, and whether previous tensions existed between the groups involved.

As Delhi witnesses repeated cases of street violence turning deadly, this incident stands out for its sheer public nature and the number of young people allegedly involved. For Krishna Sahu’s family, the arrests may offer some relief, but the loss remains irreversible a young life gone, not due to long-planned criminal intent, but because a moment of intervention turned into a nightmare.
