Apple News introduces a cleaner, more organized layout with an updated “Following” tab. Users can now quickly browse through categories like sports, politics, lifestyle, puzzles and entertainment, making it easier than ever to stay connected to their interests.
For accessibility improvements, iOS 26.2 adds screen-flash notifications. Instead of relying only on the rear LED flash, iPhones can now blink the screen itself or both when notifications arrive. This is helpful for users in noisy environments or those who depend on visual notification cues.
The update also expands Live Translation via AirPods across the European Union. Users with compatible AirPods can now enjoy real-time conversation translation in more regions, marking a significant step forward in Apple’s language-assist technology.
