Director Ashwin Kumar’s highly acclaimed animated film, Mahavatar Narsimha, is all set to make its OTT debut on Netflix on September 19, 2025, at 12:30 PM. The film first hit the big screens on July 25, 2025, and quickly became a massive box office success, breaking records and winning hearts across India.
Based on ancient scriptures like the Vishnu Purana and Narasimha Purana, the movie tells the powerful story of Prahlad’s unwavering devotion to Lord Vishnu. Despite facing harsh opposition from his demon king father Hiranyakashipu, Prahlad’s faith leads to the dramatic and fiery incarnation of Lord Vishnu as Narsimha, the half-man, half-lion protector.
Mahavatar Narsimha is the flagship film of the Mahavatar Cinematic Universe, a groundbreaking animated series based on the ten avatars of Lord Vishnu.
