Strange Discoveries Unnerve Hyderabad Residents

In a distressing twist that has set Hyderabad on edge, the lifeless bodies of two women were found abandoned at completely different city locations in a single day—sparking widespread worry over women’s safety and public security.

Chilling Scene at Cherlapally Railway Station

On the morning of September 16, the usually busy Cherlapally railway terminal was met with panic when auto rickshaw drivers detected an overpowering stench coming from a gunny bag carelessly left near the north parking area. Responding officers opened the bag to reveal the decomposed remains of a woman, estimated to be about 35 to 40 years old, clad in a red saree. Even more disturbing, the victim’s hands and feet had been tied with rope, suggesting murder with possible premeditated malice.

Security cameras showed a suspicious man arriving at the station in a car the previous day. He sat in his vehicle with two large bags, then casually changed clothes and disappeared, boarding a train to Agartala. Authorities suspect the same man abandoned the grim parcel before vanishing. Senior officers, including Rachakonda Crime Wing DCP Arvind Babu and ACP Venkat Reddy, quickly arrived at the scene to direct investigations.

Second Body Found Under Kismatpura Bridge

Shockingly, the same afternoon, another woman’s body—this time naked—was discovered under a bridge near the Kismatpura locality. Residents spotted the corpse close to a toddy shop and notified Rajendranagar police. Early reports identified the victim as a woman between 25 and 30 years old. Investigators suspect she was sexually assaulted before her murder, intensifying fears and urgency.

Police state that she had hired an auto rickshaw to reach the area and consumed the toddy shortly before she went missing. Law enforcement is currently poring over CCTV footage to track her last known movements and to identify anyone involved. Both tragic cases have triggered a massive search operation, with detectives racing against the clock to find those responsible.

City Outrage: Citizens Demand Action

As news broke of these two appalling incidents in rapid succession, public anxiety and outrage have grown steadily. Calls for improved surveillance, stricter policing, and better safety for women in Hyderabad are growing louder by the hour. Civic leaders and citizens alike are pressing for urgent intervention, fearing that these chilling discoveries may be part of a larger, more dangerous trend.

What’s Next for the Investigation?

Authorities have assured the public that they are treating these cases as top priority and have mobilized special teams to crack both mysteries. Meanwhile, residents await answers and justice for the victims whose lives ended so violently and mysteriously within city limits.
